When we are crawling your websites, we will check if your content within these elements contain keywords you've mapped them to, below are two examples:
The screenshot below comes from Site Auditor, it displayed pages that don't have mapped keywords in their title tags, and because of that, these pages will be treated as "Keywords not in Title":
The screenshot below comes from Site Explorer, you can see each page with its mapped keywords and when the value of "Contain Keywords" column if FALSE for a page, it means that the page's title tag doesn't contain any mapped keyword:
How To Map?
Keyword Mapping can be performed at Site Explorer, Keyword Management or Keyword Group pages, you can also use Excel to import keyword mapping information.
Keyword Mapping in Site Explorer
In the "Keywords" Column of Site Explorer, you can click on the "Manage" link in the respective row to assign keywords to that URL:
Once you've clicked "Manage", you will see the "Assign New Keywords" popup, and in this popup you can map keywords for the URL or remove mapped keywords for the URL, you can use the Filters in the middle of the popup to quickly find the keywords you will need to map, once you're done mapping, click on "Save":
After clicking "Save", you can see your mapped keywords in the table:
Manual Keyword Mapping
When you are in Keyword Management or Keyword Group Details page, you can assign a preferred landing page to each individual keywords to complete the mapping process.
You can use Excel to perform keyword mapping in bulk easily, just export keywords from Keyword Management to an Excel and insert Preferred Landing Page values into the spreadsheet accordingly, and upload the Excel back to Dragon Metrics.
If you've assigned Preferred Landing Page to Keywords, you will need to perform a recrawl to see them in effect, as shown below:
