Scheduled excel report deliver keyword ranking data in the format of CSV on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. In this article, we will guide you through how to create a scheduled excel report.

Accessing Report Builder
To create custom reports in Dragon Metrics, navigate to Report builder in the left navigation.
Click into Scheduled Excel Reports and click on the + icon button at the right side of the screen:
After clicking on the + icon button to create a new report, you will see a page showing the options and settings of the reports:
General report setting
This will be shown as the main title of the report.
Only Keyword Ranking is available.
Update Frequency (Only for Scheduled Report)
This option controls how frequent reports will be generated and delivered to your email inbox, you can choose daily, weekly, or monthly.
Default Date Range
This is the default date range for each piece of data you will be adding to the report later.
By default, the excel report will be sent through email. You can choose to receive the report by FTP.
Additional Email Recipients (comma separated)
Here you will be able to add extra Email recipients for your custom reports, Email will be sent to the account owner's inbox whenever there's a new update, and you can use a comma to separate multiple Email recipients. If you do not wish to be notified by email, click on the Do not notify me by email check box below the text area
Keyword ranking setting
Select the campaign for this excel report.
All search engines added for the selected campaign are available to be included in this report. One or more search engines may be selected.

Tags are one of the most powerful ways to segment your keywords. You can filter by one or more tags to include only a set of keywords you're interested in.
If multiple tags are selected, you can choose how keywords are chosen for inclusion on the report.
If Include any is selected, keywords that include any of the selected tags will be included.
If Include all is selected, only keywords that include all of the selected tags will be included.
You can even build more complex queries by adding another Tag filter. Just click +more
An additional Tag filter will now be available (joined with boolean AND logic).
For example, to view keywords that tagged as non-brand and either high or low search volume, you could use the following filter:
By default, ranking data for the campaign's site will be shown on this page. To show ranking data for a competitor site, select it from the list.
You can select which to include in the excel report.
Keyword: The keywords in the selected campaign
Translation: An optional translation of the keyword that may be included when adding keywords
Rank Start: The ranking position of the keywords at the start date of the selected date range
Rank End: The ranking position of the keywords at the end date of the selected date range
Rank(No Universal) Start: The ranking position if ignoring all rich results on the page at the start date of the selected date range
Rank(No Universal) End: The ranking position if ignoring all rich results on the page at the end date of the selected date range
Change: The position changes from the start date to the end date of the selected date range
URL Start: The ranking URL of the start date of the selected date range
URL End: The ranking URL of the end date of the selected date range
Search Engine: The tracked search engine
Tags: A list of all tags applied to this keyword
Preferred Landing Page: The URL that you are using to target this keyword or the URL would like to rank highest for this keyword
Preferred Target URL Match Start Date: Show Yes if the ranking URL on the start date is the Preferred Landing Page
Preferred Target URL Match End Date: Show Yes if the ranking URL on the end date is the Preferred Landing Page
Monthly Search Volume: The average number of time this keyword have been searched on the search engine
Region: The tracked region
Type: If the ranking URL is a rich result, the Type column will display the SERP feature.
Inline Rank: The position within a SERP Feature that has multiple ranking URLs
Trend: The ranking positions for all dates collected during the selected period
SERP Features: The types of rich results found on the SERP. Results are included in this column whether or not your site is found in the SERP feature.
By default, the report sorts the keywords in alphabet order.
Sort by Highest Ranking will show keywords ranking from higher positions to lower. Sort by Biggest Moving will show keywords that have the biggest changes in positions.
Include Universal Results
Dragon Metrics tracks over 30 types of SERP Features (e.g. map packs, images, videos, featured snippets, people also ask, etc). By default, a site's presence in one of these rich results will be counted as an organic ranking. If you'd prefer to exclude these result types from being counted as organic ranking, set this field to No.
Ranking URLs to Include
By default, the report only includes 1 top-ranking URL for each keyword. Select All ranking URLs if you want to include every ranking URL for each keyword.
After setting up, click Save to proceed.
Receiving the report
At the report update date, you will receive the email with the excel report attached.
