To protect server resources and ensure the fast performance of the Dragon Metrics API, calls are limited both by rate and a credit system.

All accounts may make up to a maximum of 50 request per minute. After this limit, your requests may be throttled by receiving a HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) message and Dragon Metrics error 3 object (Rate Limit Exceeded).

While the number of requests per minute is limited, one method to speed up how quickly you're able to get the data you need is to use a larger limit when making request. By default the "limit" parameter is set to 50, but by setting it to 500 you can dramatically increase the speed of your data retrieval.
